Leicester City Lose To Fulham 0-1

Leicester City have suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham in the Premier League match. It was a tightly fought game but Fulham managed to grab all three points with a first-half goal.

The only goal of the game came from Tom Cairney in the 25th minute when he was on the end of a well-place through ball before slotting it past Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Leicester City tried hard to come back into the game in the second half, but couldn’t find the breakthrough goal. There were chances for Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho, but both of their shots were wide or saved by goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Fulham:

  • Tom Cairney: 8/10 – Scored the crucial goal and defended well.

  • Sergio Rico: 9/10 – Made some fantastic saves and kept a clean sheet.

  • Terence Kongolo: 7/10 – Solid defensively and good at distributing the ball.

Leicester City:

  • Kasper Schmeichel: 6/10 – Couldn’t keep out Cairney’s goal but was otherwise solid.

  • Jamie Vardy: 5/10 – Was lively up front but didn’t have the luck in front of goal.

  • Harvey Barnes: 6/10 – Was dangerous but couldn’t create that all-important goal.

It was a hard-fought win for Fulham, but one that they deserved in the end. Leicester City tried their best to come back into the game, but couldn’t find the breakthrough. Fulham now find themselves in the top half of the Premier League.
