Norwich consider releasing star player to Fulham
Norwich City Football Club have revealed that they are strongly considering releasing their star striker, Teemu Pukki, to Premier League rivals Fulham.
The Canaries have seen a disappointing start to the season and currently sit at the bottom of the table, without a win. This has led to talk that the club could consider selling Pukki in the January transfer window, in a bid to raise funds and strengthen the squad.
Why Norwich would consider releasing Pukki
- Pukki has been out-of-form since the start of the season
- Selling him could bring in much-needed funds for the club
- A sale would allow Norwich to invest in new players
- Fulham have a strong squad and are well placed to challenge for a top-half finish
Where Does this Leave Pukki
The transfer could spell the end of Pukki’s tumultuous one-year spell at Norwich, with the Finnish striker having scored 14 goals in 36 appearances last season. It remains to be seen whether he would be able to replicate the same form at Fulham, where Rhys Healey is the first-choice striker.
For now, it remains to be seen whether Norwich will make the move and how Pukki will fit in with new team. For Norwich fans, the hope remains that the move will provide a much-needed boost to their season.
